Another reason why the death penalty sucks.

The case of Troy Davis.
This man doesn't sound like a murderer to me.

I make it a pretty firm rule not to second guess the determination of a jury that saw all the evidence and heard all the arguments. There are exceptions, but I'm not sure this shoudl be one of them.

While it's not as clear-cut (as in clearly unjust) as the Cory Maye case, the facts as A.I. presented them seem very troubling.

There was definitely a time, not so long ago, when not everyone could get a fair trial in Georgia. I don't know exactly when the line in time was crossed and that began to change, although I know it wasn't overnight... I hope it is indeed behind us.
